Summary
Episode 15 of the second season ofTower of Godwas very eventful as skirmishes broke out in the final stages of the contest to get onto the Archimedes. Shibisu’s team initiates an ambush on the hotel where Riplego, Xia Xia and the othermembers of Team FUGare staying, with Anaak Jahad leading the assault and getting locked in combat with the adept Khun Ran.
Elsewhere, Viole and Traveller are accosted by Endorsi, but manage to escape, while Hak attempts to get a lick back against Cassano, “The Devil of the Right Arm”.
Endorsi Does Not Recognize Her Target
Traveller is Perplexed
The episode begins with a flashback to a conversation that took place between Bam and Endorsi, where a flirtatious Endorsi manages to get the promise of a date with Bam, who was ignorant of her romantic intent. The flashback ends as the episode picks up from last week, with Endorsi dropping in out of nowhere and taking down the Workshop sentry robot that had been attacking Viole and Traveller. However, this was not a call for celebration, as Endorsi focused her attacks on her target, Viole,not realizing who he really is. Like most people who meet him, she is surprised that the young man in front of her is actually Jue Viole Grace. Confused, Traveller tries to tell Endorsi that she must be mistaken, and Viole uses the unintentional distraction to manipulate Shinsu, bringing his gun closer to himself and knocking down the Jahad princess. Using his trademark stop ability, he manages to freeze Endorsi for a moment and asks Traveller to hit her with whatever explosives he’s got. Traveller and Bam escape from Endorsi, and he is confused as to how she could mistake Bam for “a bad guy” like Jue Viole Grace. Traveller says his goodbyes and continues with his mission, while Viole prepares to head back to the FUG hotel.
Team Sweet and Sour Are Under Attack

Ja Wangnam has his work cut out for him as he has to run across the battlefield to reach the tower where the other Team Sweet and Sour members are. Two familiar faces, the fire-user Quaetro and Chong Blaroode, who have faced the team in floor tests before, attempt to ambush them at the tower, butKhun and Ja Wangnanarrive shortly after them and turn the tables. The scar on the right side of Blaroode’s face throbs at the sight of Khun, who tells them to relinquish their bullets. In exchange, he’ll send them on their way to the Archimedes. Goseng is excited to start looking for Miseng and Prince, who are still unreachable, but Khun decides that it would be better to go on ahead and have faith that they’ll be able to make their own way. However, Goseng may have been right to be worried as we catch a glimpse of Miseng and Prince’s situation: unconscious and in the clutches of an unknown girl who controls giant octopuses and wants to “keep them” and “make them marry each other”. She may be on the same team as Shibisu and Endorsi because when her moth-like ally appears, they rush back to their team because “the princess will get mad” if they don’t head back.

Hak Tries to Get Revenge For a Humiliating Defeat
The operation to attack FUG at the hotel where they’re staying has the major objective of taking Jue Viole Grace alive. When there are less than 100 participants left in the game, Anaak initiates the attack,sending the Green April sailing through the airand into the front wall where she enters and is intercepted by Khun Ran. Outside, Cassano is met by Hak, whom he thoroughly defeated in their previous encounter. On his way back to the hotel, Viole is accosted by several Regulars who are easily taken down. Novick tries to deescalate the situation between Anaak and Ran, but she is not interested in backing down, throwing a number of intense attacks at the both of them. While this could have been a great moment to show off the two strongest combatants on either side, the visuals simply were not up to the task, and the same can be said of the Hak and Cassano fight, which could have been quite an enjoyable affair but fell completely flat.
Anaak appears to have the upper hand in the fight against Ran, but as they both take aim at each other to fire the decisive shot, Viole interferes. It was an eventful episode, but the fights not being very good prevented it from being as striking as it could have been, and the short-lived interaction between Bam and Endorsi could have hit harder if they had more memories to draw from, since Endorsi was hit really hard by Bam’s death, this missed a prime opportunity to really get into why, beyond the purity and goodness he represented for the other characters.
