Traits give a variety of stat bonuses to players inRemnant 2, and Leech is one of the many options that’s geared towards increasing survivability. It’s not a mandatory Trait, but it’ll definitely help players who want to stay in fights for longer.
Not only is the process of getting Leech reliant on luck, but it’s also a bit complicated. In fact, players won’t be able to get it unless theyplayRemnant 2with friendsor at least one other player. If neither of these things are an issue for you, then here’s how you can get this Trait.

Leech can only be obtained from theDormant N’Erudian Facilityon N’Erud. Here, you need toget purged by toxic gas, which can only bereleased by another player who manages to reach the control room at the end of the dungeon. If all you want to do is get this Trait with a friend, then it’s best toroll Adventure mode worldsin hopes of getting the right map to spawn. Here’s a summary of the steps you need to take:
The Dormant N’Erudian Facility dungeon gives playerssix minutes to run through the entire mapto reach a control room inside a large, open area at the end.Look for the large tank full of purple gas.You can reach the control room by dropping onto a ledge in said open area — look for an opening in the railings, and check if there’s a ledge that you can safely land on. Follow the path and go up the elevator until you reach the control room.
The player who wants to unlock Leechmust stay in the open area and wait for the other player to release the gas. Once the room is filled with the toxic, purple haze, the player inside it will die and receive the Trait. The one who releases the gas willinstead get the Siphoner Trait.
