9Wolverine’s Samurai Fight With Shingen Yashida
The Wolverine vs. the Samurai Only Ends One Way
Aiding the Yakuza, Shingen Yashida would go out of his way to try and kill his own daughter for his father’s business, and even utilized engineered parasites to subdue Wolverine’s healing factor. Shingen Yashida dons his samurai armor to take the fight to a weakened Wolverine, but Logan has already removed the parasite, leading to a clash of katanas and adamantium claws.
It’s a tense fight that showcases Wolverine’s reliance on a healing factor, as Shingen manages to stab him all over, and Wolverine simply pulls out the blades. When Shingen refuses to waver the battle, Wolverine is forced to kill him by impaling his claws in his neck whileproclaiming himself as the Wolverine.
8Stabbing Reavers While Under Attack From Professor X
Charles Xavier’s Seizure Won’t Stop Logan From Stabbing Hostiles
During Charles Xavier’s seizure, the area around him freezes, with those caught in the powerful psychic blast stuck in time, slowly suffocating on their inability to breathe. Logan, always being thestrongest of the X-Menthanks to his healing factor, fights his way through this psychic blast to try and subdue Professor X.
On his way up to Professor X’s room, Logan takes care of the Reavers that have infiltrated the hotel room, and he slowly drags his weight across the room to stab at each and every one of them. Whether through the face or the heart, Logan’s brutal stabs are quick and precise in an effort to get to Charles.
7Shooting Dr. Zander Rice in the Throat
Subdued by Dr. Zander Rice and his Reavers, a weakened Logan hunches over in desperation to save his last breaths. With the effects of his green serum wearing off, Logan has to resort to a more cowboy way of doing things and instead uses a gun to shoot Dr. Zander Rice instead of impaling him with his adamantium claws.
What makes this kill so impressionable is that he kills Zander during his evil speech and that he’s so tired of being the best he is at what he does, that he resorts to using a gun instead of his claws. It’s also nice to see how well-trained Logan is with a gun, as after all, this Mutant fought in many warsfor America.
6Decapitating Sabretooth
Marvel movies have often depicted Wolverine and Sabretooth as brothers, and these are brothers who want each other dead. Wolverine had made a promise years ago that he would cut Sabretooth’s head off, and it’s something he actuallyaccomplishes inDeadpool & Wolverine, where the famed X-Man does so with one slash of his adamantium claws.
Wolverine feels nothing but rage for Sabretooth, so it’s no surprise that the murder of his rival isn’t one that lingers or plays out in an epic fight. Wolverine provides a swift and decisive slash to his throat to decapitate Sabretooth once and for all.
5Animalistic Stabbings of The Reavers in the Woods
Logan Becomes the Wolverine Again, Featuring Unbound Youthful Rage
When X-23’s Laura and the other Mutant children escape into the woods, Dr. Zander Rice’s Reavers chase after them to subdue them and kill the very tortured experiments that they began. Knowing that these innocent children were thefuture of the Mutant race, Logan, in his dying state, takes a green serum that enhances his healing factor, speed, but also his unbound fury.
Logan unlocks the animalistic urges within him to become the Wolverine again, and he chases through the woods of North Dakota to kill everyone in his way. Logan’s blood lust is boundless, and he uses his adamantium claws to stab at every Reaver he finds with the utmost savagery and thunderous roar.
4Tricked a Yakuza Into Jumping Into a Sign on the Bullet Train
The Fastball Special, Featuring a Wolverine and a Train
Wolverine’s venture in Japan has him kill quite a few deadly Yakuza, but the brutal kills on the Bullet Train are one of the most memorable. Wolverine lunges at his target on top of the speeding train that reaches speeds of 200 MPH, and going at that speed with indestructible adamantium claws lunging into someone’s chest is an easy way to explode their organs. Yet, there’s a funnier kill involved here.
One of the deaths on the Bullet Train involves a Wolverine and a Yakuza on the top of the train, digging their blades into the roof to remain still. However, the constant overhead train signs need to be jumped over so as to not collide with a solid object, but Wolverine tricks a Yakuza into jumping directly into a sign. Hitting a sign at 200 MPH is an easy way to turn someone into a jam.
Flaming Hot Claws Are the Perfect Decapitation Tool For Deadpools
While everyone can agree that whatX-Men Origins: Wolverinedid with Deadpool was a travesty, it’s hard to deny that by treating this Weapon XI as just another Stryker experiment separate from the Merc With a Mouth, it can be an enjoyable fight. Weapon XI has the powers of many other mutants, making him the perfect killing machine against many, but not the Wolverine.
Wolverine’s adamantium claws burn bright, glowing hot from Weapon XI’s visor blast. Using this indestructible metal and the heat from the claws, Wolverine cuts Weapon XI’s head clean off. It’s a great kill that showshow deadly adamantium can be, but does it even count as a kill if theX-Men Origins: Wolverinepost-credits scene teases Weapon XI as alive?
2Injecting Lady Deathstrike With Liquid Adamantium
Killing an Adamantium-Filled Foe With More Adamantium
Lady Deathstrike is a worthy foe of Wolverine, and one of Stryker’s experiments with adamantium that showcases just how dangerous he is, and how durable the metal can be. Lady Deathstrike vs Wolverine is brutal, and their use of adamantium is going to constantly sting thanks to a healing factor that just won’t quit. Luckily for Wolverine, he manages to get pretty smart in the battle.
Wolverine injects Lady Deathstrike with liquid adamantium, which boils her organs and forces her to drown in toxic liquid metal. With a quick finish, Wolverine manages to kill this great foe before she can become an even greater threat, and it’s easily one of the X-Men’s most brutal kills.
1Stabbing Jean Grey to Save the World from the Phoenix
Wolverine Kills the Woman He Loves to Save the World
Jean Grey was one of the women that Logan loved throughout his centuries of life, but like others before her, it was one that ended in tragedy. Jean Grey was taken by the Phoenix, a dark power that would consume her, the people she loved, and eventually the world. That was until Logan was forced to step in and take her life.
One of Logan’s more heartbreaking kills comes in the form of Jean Grey, a woman he loved, but had to kill in order to save the world. Wolverine stabs Jean with his adamantium claws, the only man able to resist her power that could easily rip the flesh off of people’s bones if it wasn’t for Logan’s healing factor.
