However, Team17 recently announced three classicWormsgames that were released exclusively for certain consoles will be coming toWorms: Armageddon’s lineup.
Team17’s official Twitter account announced that three different versions ofWorms: Armageddonwill be coming to theAnniversary Editionin 2025. These versions ofWormsare the SNES, Game Boy Advance, andSega Genesis versions, which are all similarly cut down ports of the classicWormsPC game for consoles. No date for when these ports will be added toWorms Armageddon: Anniversary Editionwas given, but Team17 says they will be included as part of a bigger content update coming in early 2025.

Worms World Partyon the Game Boy Advance is considered a sequel toWorms Armageddon. Though it was initially well-received on release,Worms World Partyhas a more mixed reception nowadays. The other two versions ofWormsare based on the 1995 game, originally released on the Amiga, which was then brought over tothe SNES and Sega Genesis consolesaround the same time.
Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Editionis also currently 20% off on the Nintendo eShop until November 13, meaning fans can enjoy the remaster at a discounted price.
