Summary

Players will need towork hard and fast to turn a profitinTCG Card Shop Simulator. Stock selection, product variety, and staff members will all impact the player’s bottom line. As the player progresses, they will begin saving enough money to purchase almost every product in the game. That said, some things aren’t worth buying during the early stages and mid stages of the game.

While most items will consistently give players some type of profit, there are items with a small profit margin or things that don’t sell fast that players should be mindful of. It’s important to note that the items on this list aren’t bad, they just tend not to be as profitable as some of the other products in the game.

How Customer Logic Works

There are two types of customers. Some come in to look around. These customers will randomly check out shelves and make purchases based on price and item quantity on the shelf. Other customers come in with a specific item in mind. This type of customer will be mostly interested in the specific items that they are looking for. However, they will occasionally grab seemingly random things from shelves ifthings are at good prices.

This makes finding out which items don’t sell well a bit tricky to figure out. However, by taking things like the number of items that will fit on a shelf and profit margin, it is possible to get a rough idea as to what some of the worst selling items are.

1Honorable Mention

Cleanser

Cleanser is a contradictory item. It doesn’t sell particularly well and there isn’t a lot of profit that can be made by selling individual cans. However, these can be used toclean up smelly customers. Smelly customers can put off and even drive away other customers, which can lead to a loss of revenue.

Like with most products, it’s a good idea to have at least one shelf dedicated to Cleanser. But, for the most part, players will want to buy some personal units and store Cleanser inside to either fill up their Auto Scent machines or to chase down smelly customers and spray them by hand. These don’t directly make a lot of money, but they help prevent the player from losing money.

2Dice Sets

These Can Be A Bit Hit And Miss

Dice Sets can be very good sellers. However, all it takes is one small dip for the player to be in the red.For the most part, the profit margin on Dice Sets isn’t all that great. So, should the prices go down for whatever reason, the player will make less profit. Also, since players can only store up to eight of them on a normal shelf, they won’t get as many sales when compared to things like booster packs and sleeves.

When a customer approaches a shelf, should they choose to purchase something, a random number will be selected based on the quantity of items on the shelf.

3Lots Of Large Figurines

They Take Up Lots Of Space And Tend To Sell Fairly Slowly

Unlike the previous entry, only two large figurines can be placed on a standard shelf. While this number can be doubled if the player invests in some wide shelves, a maximum of four large figurines can be placed on a shelf at any given time. Large figurines can be very profitable. However, they make this list due to how few can be placed on a shelf.

Players who aren’t quick at restocking shelves may end up losing some sales. Also, as mentioned in the previous entry, customers who are going to purchase a product will purchase a quantity selected at random based on the number of items on the shelf. If the number of items on the shelf is two, then players aren’t going to sell a lot of them per transaction. By the timeplayers earn enough XPto start purchasing these giant figures, they will probably already have a good stream of money coming in. Just be mindful not to have too many shelves filled with these figurines.

4Deck Boxes

Not A Lot Of Room For Profit

Deck Boxes tend to have slim margins. They are also relatively costly to buy, especially early on. Players may find that it will take several days to sell a shelf of eight Deck boxes, and it will only net them a few dollars in profit. Deck Boxes, like all items, do have their place in a player’s store. However, unless they spike in price, players should consider keeping only one shelf for each type of Deck Box. Doing this frees up some extra space that the player can use for some of the best-selling items, like card packs and card boxes.

Something else that’s worth noting about Deck Boxes is their quantities. Players can purchase the license to buy these in eight packs and sixteen packs. However, players don’t save any money by purchasing the license to buy the item in boxes of sixteen. For this reason, it’s better to stick with the license to buy eight packs until the late stages of the game.

5Playmats

Plenty Of Choices, Prices Are Hard To Keep Track Of

There are lots of different Playmats that players can unlock. However, they should proceed with caution assome of the mats can be rather tricky to sell. The good thing about Playmats is that sixteen can be placed on a standard shelf. This is good for selling items to customers in bulk. The downside of these mats is their values tend to fluctuate pretty frequently. If the player has all of the Playmats unlocked and up for sale, it can be tricky to keep track of their values.

Not only that but because of the sheer volume of Playmats available, players may end up ordering the wrong type since a few of them look fairly similar. Players shouldkeep it simple in the early to mid stagesof the game and only invest in a handful of different Playmat styles to see what works best for them.

6Low End Plushies

Good Shelf Fillers, But Not The Best Sellers

Plushies can be good items to sell. However, they are rather niche. For the most part, customers will come in looking for packs and single cards. While Plushies will sell over time, players shouldn’t order too many in one go as they might end up with too much stock. It is worth dedicating a shelf to each type of Plushie. That said, players won’t need to order a lot of extra boxes.

Try testing the water with different Plushies as different game saves have different prices. Then, after some testing, it may be worth adding a few extra shelves for the Plushies that sell the best. Finding a good balance can be tricky. But, with a bit of patience and some trial and error, players can find out which ones work the best for them.
