The most recentZenless Zone Zeroupdate known as Tour de Infernogave fans their first look at the Sons of Calydon faction. Update 1.2 took players to the Outer Ring of New Eridu, where they could take part in the game’s next phase of the story, while being able to unlock new and powerful characters like Caesar King and Burnice White. With November now right around the corner,Zenless Zone Zerois preparing to dive into it’s next big update, this time involving one of the core members of Section 6.
AsrecentZenless Zone Zeroleaksindicated, Update 1.3 is bringing Section 6 Deputy Chief Tsukishiro Yanagi to the game in the first wave, with the Sons of Calydon’s Champion, Lighter, being featured in wave 2. The “Virtual Revenge” update arrives on November 6 and in addition to new banner characters, players can also spend their Boopons and Encrypted Master Tapes on new W-Engines like Timeweaver, as well as new Bangboo such as Baddieboo and Knightboo.

In terms of new gameplay, HoYoverse is packing plenty of new content within Update 1.3, including dedicated stories for both Lighter and Yanagi as well as limited time events offering players resources. The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault is described as a roguelike mode with 5 chapters of randomized environments, rewards, and resonia for players to explore on the classic TV Board. Completing challenges here will unlock new rewards as well as the unique Knightboo.
The Simulated Battle Trial is essentially a combat tower that presents tougher battles the higher players can climb. However, reaching certain levels will also offerZenless Zone Zerorewards like Polychromeand Badges that can be displayed on the player’s customizable homepage. Update 1.3 also adds unlockable titles for another personal touch on the player’s homepage.
Finally, Update 1.3 features plenty of new optimizations including a new UI layout for the compendium, while offering additional rewards from the Ridu Weekly and Tactics tabs. Lumina Square will also open up San-Z Studio, a place where players can purchase items and trinkets to decorate the newly added display stand on the second floor of Random Play.Zenless Zone ZeroAgent leveling materialscan now be automatically crafted and dismantled across different ranks, drive disk master copies can now be crafted, and new sorting options have been added.
